DMCA Policy
How to submit a copyright takedown notice for content on this site.
We take copyright seriously and respond promptly to valid infringement notices. If you own the rights to content that appears on this site and believe it’s being used without authorization, here’s how to have it reviewed.
Before You File
Make sure the material you’re reporting is actually infringing, not just something you’d rather see removed — a takedown notice is a legal statement, and submitting one you know to be false can carry real consequences for you. If you’re unsure whether your case qualifies, it’s worth a quick check with a legal professional before filing. You’re also welcome to have an authorized representative file on your behalf instead of doing it yourself.
What a Notice Needs to Include
For a notice to be actionable, it has to contain all six of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you’re claiming was infringed.
- The specific location of the material in question — a direct URL is the fastest way for us to find it.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use wasn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you’re authorized to act for the copyright owner.
A notice missing any of these gets sent back with a note on what’s incomplete, rather than acted on.
Where to Send It
Email the complete notice to hi@manoknapulamod.com with “DMCA Takedown Request” in the subject line.
What Happens Next
Once a complete, valid notice arrives, we review it, remove or restrict the reported content where warranted, and follow up if the matter needs further action. Repeated, confirmed infringement from the same source is treated more seriously than a first instance.
Counter-Notice
If content you submitted gets removed and you believe that was a mistake — wrong material identified, or a misunderstanding of the rights involved — you can file a counter-notice with your contact information, the material and its original location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error.
Response Time
Complete notices get priority review; expect a response within a few business days. Incomplete ones get returned faster, with the gap identified.
